Parish Hall Hire


The Church has a hall which is a resource that we are grateful to have and make available to our community. Therefore, it is our greatest priority to be good stewards of our building. We hire the use of our space under principles in keeping with our faith and tradition.

General Policies & Regulations
Christ Church Hall is available for hiring to general public as accommodation for gatherings related to church-orientated affairs, cultural, civic, educational and recreational activities of responsible community groups or individuals. Christ Church shall have priority over all other users.

The Church Hall can be booked for a minimum of 3 hours @ £30 per hour on weekends subject to availability. For weekdays, separate arrangement is possible after 6.30pm. Policy during weekdays is as follows:
The Local Police, Residents’ Association and some occasional users (Mondays – Thursdays)

Hiring of the Church Hall will be made through the medium of a cheque payable to Christ Church PCC and booking will be complete once the cheque is cleared and full payment has been received in the church account. A cheque for £100 in addition to the hourly charges will be deposited with the Church administration as security against any damages to property.

The setting up and clearing of the Hall is included in the hiring time. The form for booking of the Church hall is available for download here and may be submitted to the Church Office on Fridays between 10am and 4pm and at other times when the church office is opened or by special arrangement.

The hirer will ensure that all instructions on both pages of the Hiring Application Form are read and adhered to.
