About Christianity

Christianity started from the teachings and life of Jesus Christ, the Messiah so long waited by the Jews, in the 1st century AD. The essence of Christianity is not “to know” about Christ but “to be” another Christ.

The Work of Jesus on earth culminated on the cross where He died to redeem the human race, but each individual needs to appropriate this offer of grace by believing in Jesus Christ and allowing the word of God in the Bible to order their lives. But the Cross was not the end. Jesus rose from the dead and that is the guarantee that those who believe in Him will be raised to eternal life on the last day. After His resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven from where He will come back to take those who believe in Him to His Father’s house. (John 14:1-3).
